EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) Inspections and Reports in Gloucestershire
Throughout Gloucestershire JEC Electrical are now happy to provide EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) Inspections and Reports in line with the regulations that came into force on the 1st June 2020. These regulations require landlords in the private rental sector to have the electrical installations tested at their properties at least every 5 years. Landlords are also required to provide a copy of the electrical safety report to their tenants and also their local authority if requested.
Every new tenancy from the 1st July 2020 and existing tenancy from the 1st April 2021 is required to have an EICR Report and includes assured shorthold tenancies and licenses to occupy and this only covers fixed electrical installations.
Any work that is highlighted in the report can be undertaken by JEC Electrical to make sure that your property is in compliance with these regulations.
Other Commercial and Domestic Testing and Inspections
We offer all the testing and inspection services for both Commercial and Domestic requirements that are needed to keep your electrical systems running smoothly and also to ensure that you meet all the statutory requirements.
We offer: electrical conditioning reports (periodic inspections), emergency lighting reports, both of which are done under the NICEIC so you can be assured you will receive NICEIC certification. We also utilise cutting edge technology with our thermographic inspections.
This entails taking a thermographic picture of all of your electrical distribution boards and control panels so we can see any hot spots. This means we can spot faulty apparatus that appears to be working and fix any problem before it becomes an issue!
We can also provide a fixed wiring test for all buy to let properties, which is now mandatory by law.
