
EVHS (Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme)
Is a government scheme run by OZEV (office for zero emission vehicles). It targets rental residents and landlords enabling them to save on charge point purchases and installation costs.
Rental Property Residents
Are eligible for a £350 grant funding towards their EV Charging Point. Residents must have off street parking and have or have ordered an EV /PHEV to qualify for the grant.
Landlords and Housing Associations
Can benefit from £350 per charging socket. Landlords and Housing Association can submit a maximum of 200 grant applications per year. There are no limits on the number of charging sockets per property, however they must be installed across private parking spaces.
Residential Carparks
Can take advantage of £30,000 grant funding per apartment block. This will be limited to 30 grant applications per year. The grant funding will be capped at £500 per parking bay to wire them for future charging infrastructure or £840 per parking bay for a working electric vehicle charging point.

WCS (Workplace Charging Scheme)
Is a government scheme run by OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles). It allows a diverse range of businesses and organisations to benefit from grant funding to purchase and instal electrical vehicle charge points.
Registered Businesses are eligible for up to £14,000 (£350 per charging socket) and there is grant funding towards the purchase and installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Points, allowing staff and fleet drivers to recharge their electric vehicles on site.
Charities and Small Accommodation Businesses
Such as small hotels, B&B’s, holiday lets are eligible for up to £14,000 (£350 per charging socket) for use by staff or visitors.
Commercially Let Property Owners
Can apply for a WCS grant to install charge points for staff or fleet use for current or future business tenants. Up to £350 will be available per socket towards the cost of installation with a maximum of 100 applications per year per applicant.
Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s)
There will be additional help for small and medium enterprises for staff or fleet EV Charge Points with up to £15,000 per site and you can claim for up to 5 sites.
